Adding laser dentistry can help dentists generate new business

In this lingering recession, dentists are no different than anyone else: They’re feeling the pinch as well. Despite the tough economic times, though, dentists need to add, not subtract, from their offerings in order to ensure their viability. As Dr. David Eshom has learned, investing in dental lasers not only increases the amount of services a dentist can offer but also makes patients less reluctant about visiting the office. By displaying in the lobby pictures of patients who have been treated with lasers, and then explaining the types of once-uncomfortable procedures (such as cavity fillings) that can now be administered with lasers, dentists can begin building a long-term relationship by distinguishing themselves from the competition and putting their patients at ease.
